Kenwood FP920 Food Processor Reviews
Lots of positive reviews came in for Kenwood FP920 Multi Pro Food Processor with comments that this machine is compact, very robust and as its name suggests, has a professional feel to it. The citrus juicer works better than machine dedicated to this, but the centrifuge juicer is only a bonus, not that functional.
Other great options are the smaller chopper and smaller blender bowls, especially nice when you are making a lot of different dishes for parties. The multitude of pieces you receive with this product can be a might daunting. The construction of the unit is of a solid design, easy to clean and seems dishwasher-proof. It does exactly what it says on the label, and does it well.
This Kenwood food processor is perfect for small quantities which are not practical for the large bowl. The mill is also very useful and although only used for spices so far, will work just as effectively on coffee, herbs and so on. The liquidiser will be familiar to anybody with a Kenwood Chef and it is just as effective.
Quite a few users don’t seem to like this product. The Kenwood FP920 is supposedly one kilowatt but seems to be struggling to process anything but light ingredients, and has an annoying removable spindle that falls off when you remove the bowl.
The liquidiser is adequate but nowhere near as powerful as my other one which is also one kilowatt. The removable spindle is actually the fall-off spindle. The main, most annoying difficulty with it is that the central spindle simply rests in a socket, so whenever you lift the bowl and contents, the spindle comes with it and drops on the floor.
The other complaint is that the lid does not fit tightly enough, so that fine stuff gets between lid and bowl and scatters all over the place when the lid is removed. It is not difficult to break the rather fragile locking mechanism on the base unit and mixing bowl.
Being rated highly from its online reviewers, Kenwood FP920 Food Processor is well-loved by most people who purchased and used it. Despite the few negative reviews, our team believes that this food processor is quite simply one of the best of its kind on the market, a must have for anyone who loves to work in the kitchen, easy to clean and so easy to use.
